Zeenat Noorani and Darren Weale present the latest Buzz about Bromley, from the Newman Flexible Workspace, aided by breakfast bought at Laura's Larder in Petts Wood.
We start with a theatrical scream from Theatre 62 and talk about their upcoming shows and hear from two actors in previous show Dangerous Corner. One of them, Mercedes Yearley, has started Quest Soul Theatre, a non-performance group to boost mental health, based in West Wickham. We hear from Joe at the Bridge House Theatre in Penge, discuss what to choose from the Library of Things in The Glades shopping centre, and talk about upcoming events from The Billy Walton Band (US) at the Beaverwood Club in Chislehurst on 4th October to Beckenham Business Day on 2nd November and chamber music, Pilates, and other events at the Ripley Arts Centre, and we have Zeenat's regular affirmation. We reflect on the Bowie week at Bromley Picturehouse cinema and the showing of the new Bowie film, Moonage Daydream.
We are spreading the love! Do listen in and share the Buzz. You can find us on our website www.bromleybuzz.co.uk, where we feature local events here. We are also on Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and You Tube. #bromleybuzz
